Yesterday, we went to a new pizza place called Rebellion Pizza and got a large pizza with vegan mozzarella, mushrooms, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and vegan pepperoni. We had to sit outside because Rebellion is a pick-up and take-out joint. It's good for Denver that there is another vegan pizza option besides City O' City but it makes it hard for those of us that don't live close enough to have pizzas delivered. Maybe in time they will open another one! My only disappointment with the pizza was that the toppings were very few and far between.
One of the fun parts of going to Rebellion is that they have a reserved parking spot just for vegans. The sign reads: Rebellion Pizza Vegan Parking Only. It's funny and whimsical and that alone would make me go back. I'm a sucker for stuff like that. Besides, we didn't get to park in that spot since it was taken by someone else.
Go Rebellion. Go Vegan.
